Our camps are action-packed with playtime, creative expression, and friendly competition. Children will express their imagination with free play, create arts and crafts, play games, leap into sports and fitness, and so much more!
We offer camps during winter, spring, and summer breaks.
Spring Break Camp
Our spring break camps are jam-packed with playtime, creative expression, and friendly competition. Your child will engage in free play, create spring crafts, play games, leap into sports and fitness, and so much more!
Please make sure to send children with a lunch and snack.

Carter Speed & Agility Camp
This camp is designed to keep young athletes in shape during the summer break. They can continue their practice regimen before the sports season begins. Personal trainer extraordinaire Tony Sands and ex-NFL player Bennie Blades will practice various skills and drills to ensure the future athletic stars are ready when the new season begins.

Have a love for the performing and cultural arts? Come show what you know and become the star that you are center stage! If you are an artist at heart, grab an easel - the medium’s yours to choose as you reach your inner creativity. For those that love music, dance, theater and movement, we have a thing or two for you, right here at Camp Greenroom. For your convenience, weekly or session payments are available for this camp. Lunch and snack provided by parent/caretaker. Audition required.

Holiday Park Sports & Fitness Camp
Children will enjoy their summer vacation while learning the fundamental skills of several different sports. Most camp activities will be held outside. Campers will participate in a daily, 1-mile walk/run and cardio workout. For your convenience, two sessions are available for this camp. Lunch and snack provided by parent/caretaker.

Sailing Camp
Our Sailing Summer Camp focuses on teaching sailing skills for beginners. New sailors will learn to steer and trim sails, identify the parts of a sailboat, tie knots, work as team, engage in friendly competition, and learn about the environment. This program is designed to teach children self-reliance and build self-esteem through sailing and boat care. The curriculum incorporates fun games and activities to reinforce the sailing lessons. Children should bring a hat, sunblock, sunglasses, towel, a refillable water bottle, and wear a rash guard and close-toed shoes. Lunch and transportation to the Coral Ridge Yacht Club will be provided. Campers must bring an afternoon snack. Prior to registration, a swim test will be required and can be scheduled at Bass Park, Carter Park, Croissant Park, or Riverland Park.

Counselor-in-Training

Fort Lauderdale Hurricanes Football Camp
The Fort Lauderdale Hurricanes Football Camp will be held at Mills Pond Park. The camp will provide attendees with the opportunity to participate in non-contact drills in a structured environment and will be instructed by coaches with years of championship experience. The camp caters to various ages and will focus on conditioning, self-discipline, rules, and team work.

Registration Dates
Space is limited at all camps, so register early!
- April 1: Resident (online and in-person) registration begins at 8 a.m. (restrictions apply).*
- April 15: Non-resident (online and in-person) registration begins.
Where can I register?
In-Person - All camp locations will be accepting registrations for their own camp programs, excluding Camp Riverside and Camp Lauderdale Manors. To register for Camp Riverside or Camp Lauderdale Manors, please do so at Holiday Park, located at 1150 G. Harold Martin Drive. Registrations for other camp locations will also be accepted at Holiday Park.
How do I register?
Registration is offered on a first come, first served basis. Many of our programs fill quickly so register early to secure your spot! Report cards are required at the time of registration for grade verification. Birth certificates are required for 5-year-olds. Campers must be age 5 by June 17, 2024. Parents will not be permitted to register without proper documentation.
Camp Registration Forms - Registration forms are available at each of the community camp centers. Please fill out the registration form completely including emergency phone numbers, pick-up contacts, and medical or behavioral needs.
Residency - Proof of residency is required at the time of registration. Acceptable documents include residential water bill, voter registration card, FPL bill, lease agreement, or property tax bill.
Camp Fees - All camp fees are due and payable at the time of registration. Payment method must be American Express, MasterCard, or Visa only. Cash payment and checks, made payable to the City of Fort Lauderdale, must be made at Holiday Park, located at 1150 G. Harold Martin Drive.
Do we qualify for a scholarship?
*The Youth Enrichment Scholarship (Y.E.S.) is available to City of Fort Lauderdale residents. Applicants must bring proof that the child is currently on the School Board’s free or reduced lunch program and proof of City residency.
Online registration is available!
Beginning April 1, Fort Lauderdale residents can register online. You must have an account to access our online registration system. Participants who have previously registered for recreational programs may call (954) 828-7275 (PARK) to create an account. If you have never registered for programming before, please visit your local community center to setup your household. Please make sure to bring proof of residency.
*Proof of grade and age must be submitted to the camp or registration site within 5 business days from date of your online registration. Failure to submit a birth certificate (for children entering Kindergarten school year 2024-2025) and report cards (for children entering 1st - 12th grades in 2024-2025) will result in automatic withdrawal from camp and forfeiture of your camp space.
Winter Break Camp
